Speaking to an audience - without stress

What happens when you are thinking of having to speak freely or give a presentation to others? Do you feel choked, is your heart rate rising? There are many ways to overcome stage fright, fear of public speaking or test anxiety and to keep a cool head in front of others. We will spend two afternoons learning to deal with such problems and take time for discussion and practical exercises.

Learning goals

  • Improving your ability to speak freely in front of others (alertness/voice leading/body language)
  • Helpful strategies to deal with stress, stage fright and test anxiety
  • Learning about charisma and personal impact, with feedback from practical exercises
