Navigating your Studies between Rules and Regulations

Being far away from home, having wild student parties – in short, total freedom! Naturally, this is important in any student’s life. Enjoying the fun part but still navigating one‘s studies successfully can be a challenge especially for beginning students. It’s all explained in the examination regulations/study guide (Prüfungsordnung) and the handbook of modules. That sounds less sexy, more like rules and regulations, doesn’t it? Right – but nevertheless important. That’s why we try to make strategies that enable us not having to read everything all at once – but still know where to find the essential information for guiding us safely through each semester. Ready for take-off? Just bring the examination regulations/study guide (Prüfungsordnung) and the handbook of modules (digital format preferred – save trees, save paper) and take a positive stand on some instructions and rules. It’s not as bad as one might think!
